Many of us get discourage in prayer. We wonder where God is, does he hear us and if he does why isn’t he answering us?

Sometimes in his wisdom and grace God says no, and other times he says wait. Often, we just don’t pray through. We often get frustrated if things don’t change as fast as our television channels.

I encourage you, don’t give up, don’t stop praying, don’t stop believing

Daniel 10:12-13

Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way.

When Daniel first began to pray [still ongoing]. Not since he had prayed [past tense]. Daniel humbled himself before God and did not cease praying until he got his answer.

Elijah had to pray seven times in order for rain to come. The Canaanite woman had to ask over and over again before Jesus would heal her daughter, and finally, even Jesus asked his father three times if there could be another way other than the cross.

Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill the gaps in your faith.   The Apostle Paul

Keep praying and believing. If you are not seeing results right away, be encouraged, you are in good company
