Do you feel alone and insignificant? You are not alone and you are of great significance, because you are made in the very image of God Almighty. He has a plan for your life to prosper you, strengthen you and encourage you. He can change your life, and he can change your circumstances.

Genesis 1:27

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them

Jeremiah 29:11;

For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

You have been created for greatness. Your significance could reach into eternity if you allow God into your life. The God who loves you, created you and wants the best for you, wants you to know him.

Sometimes we walk our own road and get into all kinds of trouble, but God is right there to help if we will only ask him.

Jeremiah 33:3
Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

You may feel forgotten and abandon but the Lord has neither forgotten nor abandon you. He knew who you would be before you were born.

Jeremiah 1:5

I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.

Hebrews 13:5

I will never fail you. I will never abandon you

Isaiah 20:19

So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God.

You may think God can’t exist, or doesn’t care because of the pain and trouble you have endured through out your life, but I can tell you he is there. He was there when my sone died in my wife’s arms, he was there when my daughter died in my arms. He will never leave you if you ask him into your life.

The Father is not pushy, he will not force  you to embrace him, he waits patiently for each you to come willingly to him. He has taken the first step by sending his son Jesus Christ to earth so your relationship could be restored.

John 3:16-18

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him.

While we were separated from God, Jesus died for you and me. he was humiliated, ridiculed, beaten, tortured and put to death by religious hypocrites. Jesus forever changed our relationship with the Father. Jesus has enabled each of us to access God the Father directly through prayer.

1 Timothy 2:5,6

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.

1 Peter 5:6-7

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

1 John 5:13-14

I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.

Sin separated you from God in this life and the one to come. That is right, you are not going to die, just your body is. Sin has brought pain, suffering and death into our lives which God did not intend. Jesus has brought life. We cannot escape the death of our body, but we can escape the second death because of Jesus.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

…I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.

God knows your name, the number of hairs on your head, who you are, and who you could be. This life is only the beginning, but the choices we make not only effect our physical lives but have have eternal ramifications. This is not all there is, and where you are today is not where you have to stay. In Jesus Christ there is freedom from sin, fear and despair. In Jesus is hope for today and forever.

Luke 12:7

And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid

Romans 6:20-23

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:1-3

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus can set you free.

Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

You are not awful and you are not without hope. You may feel lost but God knows exactly where you are, and how to lead you home. To God your soul is of greater worth than everything the world has to offer.

Matthew 8:36-37

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

God created you with a purpose. Like a loving father who’s child has lost their way, he waits for you to call on him so he can protect you, restore you and heal your heart.

Isaiah 30:18

… the Lord is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the Lord is a just God;

John 10:10

I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

All you need to do is ask
