God has left us his love letter in the form of the Holy Bible. The best selling book of all time. In there we see his character, his love and his direction for us. He shows us his plan of salvation that will give us eternal life and bring us back into relationship with him.

The scriptures cited here can be found in the New Living Translation bible (NLT), the New International Version bible (NIV), the King James Version bible (KJV).

John 3:16; “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”-Jesus

2 Peter 3:9; “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”

1 Timothy 2:1-4; “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”

Ezekiel 18:23, 31, 32; “Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign LORD. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.“… Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign LORD. Turn back and live!”

God’s heart is that we turn to him so he can heal our hearts and we can live fuller lives. It makes no difference what you have done, he knows. He know before he sent his son to pay for those sins. His love is not based upon your life’s performance. He loves you for you.

Don’t think of yourself as less than someone else. In God’s eyes, we are all equal, we are all his creation and loved the same. We have all fallen short and that is why he provided the way back to him.

Matthew 5:3; “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,

for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.”-Jesus

Luke 18:10-14; “… “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee (Strict religious leader), and the other was a despised tax collector (corrupt, thief). The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God.”-Jesus

Romans 2:11; “For God does not show favortism.”

Acts 10:34-36; “Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel—that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.”

James 2:1-9; My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others? For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives? Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear? Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin.”

God Knew You Before You Were Even Born

Ephesians 1:4; “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

Jeremiah 1:5; “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.”

Ephesians 1:5-7; “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”

The blood Jesus Christ shed is strong enough to pay for any sin you have committed against man or God. There is nothing so bad, that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ can’t cover.

Why Do We Need To Be Saved?

Matthew 10:28-31; “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.”-Jesus

God Alone Justifies Us – We Can Rest

1 John 4:9-10; “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”

Colossians 2:13-14; “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

Romans 10:9; “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Acts 16:31; “…“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved…”

John 14:6; “…Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

1 John 5:11-12; “And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.”

Ephesians 2:8-10; “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

God fights for us. He is fighting for you and you may not even know it. His heart is for you to know him so he can bless you and you can be with him for eternity. There is no power greater than God and nothing can separate you from his love. His love will never die, even when we push him away. He will never leave you, never forsake you. He is right there with you waiting for you to reach out and him to be your God, your Father, your Lord.

Romans 8:31-34; “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.”

Deuteronomy 31:6; “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
